Virtual Terminal

The virtual terminal is no charge and allow you to accept payments from an internet-connected computer.

Terminals

Terminals have an insurance fee of approximately $79 per year. This isn’t a bad fee as you’ll simply return the terminal when you’re done with it. You won’t pay thousands of dollars in terminal leasing fees.

Mobile Payments App

You can process swiped transactions from any computer or smartphone. Unfortunately, their mobile reader is not EMV capable. If EMV is a big thing for you then you’ll want to look elsewhere.

Our new Self-Assessment Questionnaire Wizard provides you with the power to do this through an interactive question & answer process. How Long is Your Contract?

There is no early termination fee, so you’ll never be locked into a contract. If you sign up for the gateway and merchant account combination through CDGcommerce, your account will come from Merchant Focus and will not include an early termination fee. But always read your contracts.

Customer Service and Technical Support

Customer support is provided by email and telephone. One thing you don’t always see in a payment processor’s website are testimonials from customers. CDG has a lot of these. This is a good sign as many merchants won’t do this for their payment gateway. We take this a positive sign that CDG delivers on customer support.

Conclusion

CDGcommerce performs well. They offer online, swipe and mobile payment processing. Their fees are reasonable and simple. If you’re a brick and mortar operation and need a terminal, CDG offers one of the most inexpensive options with a simple $79 annual insurance fee.
